2021 Fall Season Update

By B. Lyles 04/27/2021, 2:15pm PDT

While anticipating changes today as a number of our counties move to extreme, this understandably brings questions about our 2021 Fall season. Player Safety is our number one objective in all that we do, and as mentioned in our previous league wide meeting, we continue to plan for a “normal’ Fall season (whatever the new normal will be) while also exploring a backup for non-contact forms of play. Along these lines, we have created a COVID committee that will help us prepare for many eventualities this Fall, including COVID waivers, facility waivers, testing procedures before practices/games, contact tracing, spectators and any new requirements deemed necessary by the State of Oregon.

It is unclear what our infection rates will be come Fall, but given the vaccinations administered currently we are hopeful for a return to the gridiron this September.
